The Canadian airline "Rouge", from the tour operator Air Canada, opened the last weekend a new route with a flight from the city of Toronto to the Cuban tourist destination Jardínes del Rey (King´s Gardens), in the center of the island, reported local media.

A group of 139 tourists, most of them students that spend their holiday period in the region, opened the operations of "Rouge" with a trip to Cayo Coco, in Jardines del Rey, a set of islands of the archipelago Sabana-Camagüey, the largest and most numerous of the four surrounding Cuba.
The new itinerary responds to a strategy of expansion and the acquisition of four aircrafts, two of which will arrive to the Caribbean, and the rest to Europe, explained the local representative of Canada Vacances, Manuel Yañez, quoted by the state agency of National News (AIN).
