In some of the biggest cities in Cuba, especially in Havana it is possible to find open craftwork markets, craftwork shops and souvenir shops where you can buy all these kind of products.

In some of the markets all the products are made by craftsmen with a license to run this activity as a small private business. These “private run” markets offer a wide diversity of products with good quality, which are usually cheaper than the state souvenir shops. These markets have become very popular among visitors interested in typical souvenirs from Cuba.

State owned souvenir shops can be found in most of the big hotels all over Cuba. And craftwork shops private markets can be found in many of the main cities.

Galleria Forma
Location: Calle Obispo # 255, entre Cuba y Aguiar, Habana Vieja
Opening hours: Daily 10:00- 18:00

Feria Aretesanal de 23 (Open market)
Location: Calle 23, entre M y N, Vedado
Opening hours: Daily 10:00- 18:00

Feria Artesanal de la Habana Vieja
It is the biggest of its type all over Cuba and it is located at the area besides of the Havana bay in Old Havana. Now it is the most popular among local and visitors, because of its strategic location and its wide variety of products.
Location: Ave del Puerto E/ Cuba y Damas, antiguos Almacenes San José, Habana Vieja
Opening hours: Tuesday – Sunday 10:00- 20:00
Mercado Experimental (Tienda Fin del Siglo)

This market has a very wide variety of products, but its indoor location has attempted against its popularity among visitors.

Here you can find the sellers that used to be at the very popular Malecon Marked (in Vedado), before it was closed some years ago.
